Brent Joseph is a PhD student at Regent University in Biblical Studies and is offering non-clinical, online Christian counseling for religious abuse. Not everyone who has gone through the pain of trauma and abuse within a religious contexts desires to abandon their faith in God. Brent is actively working to help restore the faith in individuals and families that was damaged by the misuse and abuse of authority and influence in the church.
At Brent Joseph Counseling, you will be working with Brent himself, a PhD student in Biblical Studies at Regent University and a MDiv graduate. Brent is a husband of 14 years and a father of 5 children. Based out of the state of Florida, choosing Brent for your Online Christian Counseling is a non-clinical approach. This biblical counseling office is equipped to help and has years of experience in helping individuals to recover from the traumatic events that surround religious abuse.
Brent himself and his family learned how to recover from religious abuse after living for years in a high control environment. Learning to live outside of the social construct and theological ideas that were taught to him and his family, they had to learn to heal and to find healthy community with others. In finding this new beginning, Brent and his family were able to find a rejuvenated faith in God and learned all over again how to build healthy relationships and talk about their past with cohesion, clarity, and confidence.
